Our temple will be celebrating Varalakshmi Virutham as usual with veda agama way on 24-08-2018, Friday at 7-30 pm sharp after the temple Nithya Pooja.

Significance of Vara Lakshmi Virutham
This pooja falls on Dwadasi and also falls in the month of Aadi or Aavani(Tamil month), the day in which goddess Lakshmi was born from the sea (paar kadal). Varalakshmi is the Goddess of wealth and gives us whatever varam we want (varam means boon). To get the blessings of Lakshmi, we will be performing this pooja with great care and devotion. Hence this pooja will be celebrated in a grand manner befitting the occasion. This pooja is of special significance to married ladies so you are encouraged to participate in this prayers. Please bring your own standing lamp ( kuthuvillaku ) the materials for the pooja will be provided by the temple.

The pooja cost is $35 dollars per person. Please book your name as early as possible to avoid disappointment as we have only limited numbers.

Do participate in the Pooja and receive the blessings of Varalakshmi and Lord Ganesha.

Note – During the month of Adi  on every Tuesday and Friday, there will be a special pooja for kamchi amman in the evenings.


Karkadaka month kuttu bagavathi seva and karakadaka prasatham
The Bhagavati Seva Pooja is conducted every last Sunday of the month at our temple, Devotees who wish to include your name to this special pooja please register with the temple priests or temple office .This Pooja is an ancient Vedic pooja ceremony done to restore balance in the environment and bring peace within us and the world. It balances the malefic effects of planets. It is a very beneficial pooja performed to keep us in harmony with cosmic forces, thereby removing and overcoming the sorrows of life and bringing spiritual uplifting. The pooja will be done in the traditional Kerala style tantric way.

8:00pm - 21 namaskarams to bagavathi
