Thaipusam festival commemorates the occasion when Goddess Parvathi gave Murugan (Karthikeya) a “vel” (spear) so that he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadman. It is believed if you pray on this auspicious day you will receive all His blessings as he is Vamsavirthi Karan (keeping the generation without break). Our temple will be celebrating Thaipusam in a Grand way.

Those who wish to participate in the lifting of kavadi palkudam (milk kalasa) kindly contact the temple priests or trustees. Milk Kalasam is $15/- and Kavadi is $51/- includes archana and prasatham.
